About the role

GE Vernova is looking for a motivated Sourcing Intern to support sourcing, procurement, supplier engagement, analytics, and process improvement activities. This internship is designed for college Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors who are interested in building early career experience in supply chain, sourcing, operations, business analytics, engineering, or related fields while contributing to meaningful work in the energy industry. Responsibilities

• Support sourcing projects related to supplier management, data analysis, process improvement, sustainability, and operational execution.
• Assist with supplier research, spend analysis, purchase order review, savings tracking, and sourcing performance reporting.
• Learn and apply sourcing tools, dashboards, and standard work to help teams make informed business decisions.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, Quality, Legal, and other business partners as needed.
• Help prepare presentations, trackers, summaries, and project updates for team meetings and leadership reviews.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to simplify work, improve data quality, and strengthen process discipline.
• Participate in team meetings, intern learning experiences, development activities, and networking opportunities.
