About the role

As a Grid Solutions Co-op/Intern, you will prepare for an exciting career in manufacturing or supply chain. This role offers assignments and projects designed to stretch your learning and skill set. You will report progress and status, apply your academic knowledge to complete assigned projects, deliver positive outcomes, and contribute to the success of our team. You will grow your technical expertise in your chosen field and expand your skills in new areas.

Engineering interns in Grid Solutions experience technically challenging assignments in power generation, focusing on managing processes and procedures that drive customer satisfaction. You will have the opportunity to dive into Lean, industrial, quality, or electrical engineering, assessing, pinpointing, and actively implementing improvements. Additional projects may involve working with cross-functional teams to improve production quality. You may utilize AI and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive improvements in production areas.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering discipline (e.g., Engineering or other energy-related majors).
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (without rounding).
• Must have the ability to work in the U.S. for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $1,000–$2,000 USD weekly. The specific pay offered may be influenced by the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Benefits

• Relocation Assistance: Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Eligible if your permanent address is greater than 50 miles from the work location.
• Housing Allowance: Co-op/Interns receive a weekly housing allowance to help offset living expenses when the permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.
