About the Role

As a Grid Solutions Co-op/Intern, you will prepare for an exciting career in manufacturing or supply chain. This role offers assignments and projects designed to stretch your learning and skill set while contributing to the success of our team. You will report progress, apply academic knowledge to complete projects, and grow your technical expertise.

Engineering interns in Grid Solutions experience technically challenging assignments in power generation products, focusing on managing processes and procedures that drive customer satisfaction. You will dive into Lean, industrial, quality, or electrical engineering, assessing and implementing improvements. Additional projects may involve cross-functional teams improving production quality, utilizing AI and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering discipline (e.g., Engineering or other energy-related majors).
• Ability to work in the U.S. for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (without rounding).

Pay

The pay range for this position is $1,000–$2,000 USD weekly. Specific pay may be influenced by the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Benefits

• Relocation Assistance: Reimbursement for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment (for employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles from the work location).
• Housing Allowance: Weekly housing allowance to help offset living expenses when the permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.
