GCP Cloud Engineer with Production & deployments experience

About the role

We are seeking a GCP Cloud Engineer with strong production support and deployment experience to join our team. This is an immediate opening and a long-term position.

Responsibilities

• Support and deploy Google Cloud Platform services in production environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain cloud solutions
• Ensure high availability and performance of cloud-based applications
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues
• Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud services and deployments

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in GCP production support and deployment
• Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform services and architecture
• Experience with cloud security best practices
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Engineer certification preferred

Skills

• Production engineering experience
• Google Cloud Platform deployments
• AI Engineering (optional but big plus)

The rate/salary range is dependent on numerous factors including qualification, experience, and location.

This is a hybrid position with 2-3 days onsite in Dallas, TX, Basking Ridge, NJ, or Atlanta, GA.
