Key Responsibilities
- Operate various equipment used in bending, drilling, sawing or forming parts.
- Setup up various equipment used in bending, drilling, sawing or forming parts.
- Inspect first production piece of each run and inspect at random during production run.
- Record required information (count, employee I.D., etc.) on work orders.
- Clean work stations and equipment at end of shift.
Required Qualifications
- 12th Grade education or equivalent is required.
- Must recognize malfunction of equipment vs. improper setup when products do not agree with drawings.
- Requires math, reading of simple and complicated drawings, and reading of various measuring devices.
- Must have knowledge of various departmental equipment such as saws, drill presses, benders, swagers, etc.
- Must have knowledge of various hand tools such as pliers, screw drivers, wrenches, etc.
- Must have knowledge of measuring devices.
