About the Role

Setup and operate various equipment used in shearing, notching, piercing, bending, braking and forming copper, copper alloys, brass, aluminum, galvanized steel or other raw material type, making adjustments necessary to comply with drawings, quality, safety and methods procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and set up equipment for production runs.
• Identify and locate required tooling.
• Inspect first production piece of each run and continually monitor conformance to standards.
• Make arithmetic calculations, read blueprints, and understand bills of material.
• Use measuring devices to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
