About the role
Micro Metals, Inc. is seeking a Press Brake Operator to join their fabrication team in Colorado Springs, CO.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC press brakes
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and bend specifications
- Select and install tooling for each production run
- Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections
- Measure and verify parts using precision measuring tools
- Adjust machine settings to maintain quality and production standards
- Complete production documentation and quality records
- Safely handle materials and finished parts
- Maintain a clean, organized work area while following all safety procedures
- Work closely with supervisors, quality, and production teams to meet customer expectations
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of press brake experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using precision measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Team player with a positive attitude
Qualifications
