About the Role

Setup and operate a fin press and/or a mechanical expander per instructions from a Group Leader to produce fins or complete coils of acceptable quality.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate a fin press for various fins per inch and corrugation.
• Setup and operate an expander for various coil widths, lengths, depths, and designs.
• Assemble coils and recognize malfunctions of equipment versus improper setup when products do not agree with drawings.
• Read and interpret drawings and use various measuring instruments.
• Assist in training personnel as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work breakdown: Set up fin press (twisting & turning) 25%, operate fin press (standing) 50%, and remove fins from machine (bending & stooping) 25%. This list is not all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned as necessary.
