About the role
An industry-leading construction and forensic consulting firm is seeking a General Contracting Consultant to contribute to the expansion in the Western region. You'll be instrumental in conducting building envelope assessments, managing rehabilitation projects, and providing expert testimony in construction defect litigation cases in California.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive building envelope assessments and rehabilitation projects.
- Manage all phases of projects, including coordination with manufacturers, developers, and subcontractors.
- Serve as an expert witness in construction defect litigation cases.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among stakeholders, including building owners, architects, contractors, and building officials.
- Travel within the state and region as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
- 15+ years of general contracting experience with a GC license.
- Experience in forensic consulting preferred.
- Willingness to travel.
