About the role

Perform various tasks per group leader instruction to assemble coils in compliance to dimensional drawing, safety requirements and quality methods and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment, set up equipment, identify and locate required tooling, and ensure that all work is correct.
• Make arithmetic calculations, read blueprints, understand a bill of material, and use measuring devices.
• Use equipment in assigned area, such as impact guns, pop-rivet guns, and any other related equipment necessary to the position.
• Pull parts for next order, set up sheet metal, install fins, and lace tubes per the drawing.
• Assist in training personnel when required.
• Make basic adjustments to equipment required to keep process in control.
• Report tool wear and other issues.

Requirements

• Ability to make mathematic calculations and comprehend decimals.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Requires lifting and pushing up to 50 lbs.
• Majority of position requires standing and walking; bending and stooping are also required.
• Requires multi-tasking to keep things progressing.
• Requires mental and visual alertness and self-motivation.
• Must be able to work any hours required.
