GBTS Senior Billing Specialist

About the role

The Senior Billing Specialist oversees all payroll functions, ensuring timely, accurate processing and compliance with government regulations. This role involves managing a team of 2-3 payroll associates, conducting training, and performance management. Additionally, the role includes verifying data integrity through audits and making appropriate journal entries to the general ledger. Responsibilities also extend to supporting billing functions related to payroll.

Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Experience in payroll administration, auditing, and compliance is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also crucial.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Salary is commensurate with experience and performance.

Schedule

The Senior Billing Specialist works a standard Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines.
