Gate Controller - Part Time

Job Responsibilities

• Control gate operations.
• Manage trucks and trailers entering and exiting the terminal yard.
• Verify driver code, truck, trailer and trip numbers before allowing vehicle to exit from yard.
• Verify driver has L called load.
• All vehicles coming into secured yard.
• Dispatch drivers as necessary.
• Cook and coordinate any security issues with Security Department.
• Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications

• Previous office experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate well with others.
• Must be flexible in available work hours.
• Must hold basic computer skills.
• Must be detail oriented.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
