Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity in accordance with property guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related issues according to post procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Communicate with residents, property staff, and visitors regarding community rules, delivery access, and guest entry procedures while supporting a professional residential environment.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet, preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Florida State Security Agency License No. B8500287
