Security Officer Part Time Gate Position

About the role

As a Security Officer Part Time in Elm Grove, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, conduct routine patrols, and help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, and maintain accurate visitor, driver, and vehicle access records.
• Control access to restricted areas, help deter unauthorized entry, and report access-control concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Customer service experience.

$18.73 / Hour

Schedule

• Friday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Saturday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Sunday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
