Gate Attendant: Morning shift

Shift: Monday–Friday 6:30 AM–3:00 PM & Saturday 6:30 AM–12:30 PM (overtime not optional)
Start date: As soon as possible
Duration: 3–4 months
Rate: $16.90 per hour

About the role

The Gate Attendant reports trucks into the ERP system and notifies 3PL customers. This person also conducts C-TPAT 8-point inspections on every inbound container to uphold supply-chain security. The Gate Attendant works with Shipping, Security, Operations, and Food Safety to streamline inbound freight management.

Responsibilities

• Check in trucks with the ERP system
• Complete and maintain truck/visitor sign-in/out logs
• Send check-in/out notifications via email for Mission and 3PL customers
• Perform C-TPAT 8-point inspections and verify inbound container seals
• Verify employee and visitor badges
• Understand appointment schedules on Excel/spreadsheets
• Check out containers
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions and report to management
• Permit only authorized persons and vehicles to enter the property
• Check all incoming and outgoing vehicles for correct merchandise and quantities
• Perform other duties as requested

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Safety-conscious and detail-oriented
• Ability to multitask and remain flexible

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
