About the role

The Section of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center is seeking a Gastrointestinal (GI) Oncologist.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional clinical care in GI medical oncology
  • Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary care team
  • Participate and lead in clinical trials
  • Collaborate with investigators on a range of research projects
  • Engage in teaching students, residents, and fellows in ambulatory and inpatient settings
  • Opportunities for leadership in medical education

Requirements

  • MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Medical Oncology
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology preferred
  • Licensed or eligible for a medical license in the state of Massachusetts

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will possess an MD, DO, or MD/PhD and be BC/BE in Medical Oncology. BE/BC in Hematology and Oncology preferred. Candidates will be licensed or eligible for a medical license in the state of Massachusetts.

Skills

Strong clinical expertise in GI medical oncology and a track record of collaboration in a multi-disciplinary care team.

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison.

Pay

$255,670.00 - $534,220.00
