Work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality cancer care and excellent patient experience. Practice focus in gastrointestinal (GI) malignancies. Opportunity for GI research focus including clinical trials. Outpatient clinical practice with inpatient consult responsibilities. Inpatient oncology services are managed by hospitalist service. Team approaches care with integrated Oncology nurse navigators. Outpatient and inpatient palliative care team support. Employment position with the Intermountain Medical Group.

Responsibilities

• Practice focus in gastrointestinal (GI) malignancies.
• Opportunity for GI research focus including clinical trials.
• Outpatient clinical practice with inpatient consult responsibilities.
• Inpatient oncology services are managed by hospitalist service.
• Team approaches care with integrated Oncology nurse navigators.
• Outpatient and inpatient palliative care team support.
• Employment position with the Intermountain Medical Group.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
• U.S. ACGME Residency Training Program.
• Board Certified/ Board Eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
• Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.

Skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of oncology principles and practices.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $7.25 - $999.99
