Responsibilities May Include Evaluate and manage new and established Gastroenterology patientsPerform comprehensive histories and physical examinationsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plansManage acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditionsOrder and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studiesProvide pre- and post-procedure follow-up as appropriateProvide medication management and patient educationCoordinate care with Gastroenterologists, Primary Care providers, and other specialistsSupport timely access and continuity of care for patients throughout the marketMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationParticipate in quality, safety, and patient experience initiativesSupport continued growth and development of Gastroenterology services What We're Looking For Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner programCurrent or eligible South Carolina Nurse Practitioner licensureCurrent or eligible national board certificationCurrent or eligible prescriptive authorityBLS certification requiredGastroenterology, Internal Medicine, Primary Care, or related clinical experience preferredStrong clinical judgment and commitment to high-quality patient careExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work effectively within a physician and APP team environment Why Choose Novant Health?
