About the role

Seeking a Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a rapidly growing GI program in a community health system. This hospital‑employed position provides an immediate patient volume with an established waitlist, supporting a balanced mix of outpatient procedures and inpatient consults. The practice currently includes two advanced and three general gastroenterologists, with plans to expand to six‑seven physicians.

Responsibilities

  • Perform outpatient endoscopic procedures.
  • Provide inpatient gastroenterology consults.
  • Participate in a shared inpatient GI rotation.
  • Collaborate with dedicated advanced practice support.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the expanding GI team.

Qualifications

  • Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Gastroenterology.
  • Ability to perform advanced procedures such as ERCP (fellowship not required for general GI practice).
  • Commitment to delivering high‑quality patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Skills

  • Proficiency in endoscopic techniques, including ERCP.
  • Strong clinical decision‑making for inpatient consults.
