About the role

Our Gastroenterology team collaborates across six locations to provide exceptional-quality specialty care to patients as an integrated Mayo Clinic Gastroenterology practice. Our Southwestern Wisconsin La Crosse location has an exciting opportunity for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist, to join our multi-specialty practice focusing on quality, outcomes, and compassion.

Mayo Clinic Health System Gastroenterology has a strong integration with the Division of Gastroenterology at Mayo Clinic-Rochester, MN, which may provide opportunity for a blended clinical, consultative, research, teaching activities. This position is located in La Crosse Wisconsin. The selected candidate would join an established group of up to Gastroenterologists and Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants providing gastroenterology services in a physician-led, stable organization, committed to high quality patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

General gastroenterology care will be required although practice is open to additional areas of sub-specialty interest to include motility, hepatology, inflammatory bowel disease, and pancreas. The practice includes a strong surgical, cancer, and radiology specialties who work collaboratively within the region and across Mayo Clinic to support the needs of our patients.

Requirements

• Candidates must be board-certified/board-eligible in Gastroenterology
• Must be eligible for a Wisconsin state license
• Visa sponsorship may be considered for this role

Our Practice Features: Gastroenterology Endoscopy and Clinic practice and hospital consultative service with well-established hospitalist program. Clinic, endoscopy suite, and hospital all located in one location, including Radiology with MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine with interventional radiology services and Infusion center on-site. Integrated EMR and imaging system across all locations allowing seamless coordination of care across specialties and GI locations. Dedicated physician workstation in procedure locations, linked to integration system.
