About the role

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist with advanced endoscopy fellowship training to join its multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. Qualified candidates should have exceptional communication and administrative skills as he/she will manage and grow an already thriving referral base. The physician will be joining our GI oncology program focusing on the clinical care of GI malignancies with surgical oncology, colorectal surgery, medical oncology, and radiation oncology colleagues. In addition, advanced endoscopy support will be provided to the extensive community of GI physicians practicing in the healthcare system.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the full spectrum of gastroenterology tests and procedures in addition to ERCP and EUS.
  • Manage and grow an already thriving referral base.
  • Collaborate with surgical oncology, colorectal surgery, medical oncology, and radiation oncology colleagues.
  • Provide advanced endoscopy support to the extensive community of GI physicians.

Requirements

  • Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology.
  • Advanced endoscopy fellowship training.
  • Excellent communication and administrative skills.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree.
  • Current Florida Medical License.
  • Completion of an accredited ACGME/ACGME-approved Gastroenterology residency program.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with training and experience.
