Gastroenterologist - Motility Specialist

Role Overview The position involves serving as an academic gastroenterologist with expertise in gastrointestinal motility, focusing on patient-centered care, scholarly activity, and education. Responsibilities include evaluating and managing patients with gastric, small bowel, and lower intestinal motility disorders, including pelvic floor issues, within a multidisciplinary team. Clinical duties also encompass nutrition support such as total parenteral and enteral nutrition. Qualifications & Skills Board eligible or certified in Gastroenterology with the ability to obtain a medical license in the relevant state.Advanced training or significant experience in gastrointestinal motility disorders preferred.Interest in clinical and translational research, including phenotyping, biomarker identification, and therapy development.Experience or interest in nutrition support, especially TPN and enteral nutrition.
