Job Overview/Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Exercise Specialist to support clients in achieving their health and fitness goals through personalized, evidence-based training programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical or coaching background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving patient outcomes through movement and education.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate client fitness levels and skill sets to establish realistic and achievable goals
  • Educate clients on proper exercise techniques and injury prevention strategies
  • Develop customized training programs tailored to individual client needs
  • Monitor, chart, and track client progress over time
  • Motivate and engage clients through consistent communication and support via digital platforms
  • Adjust personalized training plans as clients progress and goals evolve
  • Provide education on evidence-based exercise programming
  • Audit training approaches for clients of all ages and varying fitness levels
  • Collaborate with the Dietetics department to support comprehensive patient wellness plans

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in one-on-one coaching, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting
  • Clinical experience in a related field is highly desirable
  • ACSM certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport, including with Arabic-speaking patients
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage remote coaching sessions
  • Demonstrates empathy, patience, and a passion for helping others achieve wellness goals
  • Must reside in the United States or be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (NPI required)
