Gastroenterologist - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

This position requires a board-certified gastroenterologist to provide comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, and surgical (OR) coverage in a small hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform approximately 11-15 procedures daily
• Manage 2-4 inpatient consults
• Conduct clinic sessions with about 8 patients per day
• Shared call duties, including weekday call and potential night or weekend call
• Work alongside nursing staff and two APPs to support high procedural volumes

Schedule

Weekday hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with scheduled procedure and clinic sessions.

Qualifications

• Board-certified gastroenterologist
• Experience in ERCP considered advantageous
