About the Role
This position is for a licensed and board-certified Gastroenterologist (MD) providing inpatient and operating room coverage at a Level I facility.
Responsibilities
- Manage inpatient gastroenterology cases and perform OR procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Provide day shift coverage from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with required call duties during weeknights and weekends.
- Maintain availability during all call periods to support clinical operations.
Requirements
- Board certification in Gastroenterology.
- Prescriptive authority is required.
Support & Team
- Support staff includes three advanced practice providers at each location, aiding in patient management.
