About the role
This is an inpatient Gastroenterologist (MD) position providing 24-hour call coverage on-site at a mid-sized hospital in Florida.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inpatient calls via beeper and manage gastroenterology cases according to established protocols
- Provide specialized care for adult inpatients in a hospital setting
- Provide inpatient gastroenterology coverage during assigned dates
- Manage adult patient cases in accordance with hospital protocols
Requirements
- Board certification in Gastroenterology
- Experience with inpatient gastroenterology cases
- Ability to work independently on a 24-hour call basis
