About the role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking BC/BE Gastroenterologists to join our Summit Gastroenterology Ambulatory Endoscopy Center located in Norton, OH and Akron General Hospital located in Akron, OH. Advanced endoscopy training is preferred but not required. Physicians joining the team would perform inpatient and outpatient duties with the assistance of inpatient nurse practitioners and endoscopy nursing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inpatient and outpatient duties with the assistance of inpatient nurse practitioners and endoscopy nursing teams.
  • Work at Akron General Hospital (AGH) & Summit Gastroenterology Ambulatory Endoscopy Center, which is a 532-bed tertiary care adult hospital and Level I trauma center.
  • Benefit from sophisticated endoscopy resources and comprehensive surgical support.
  • Participate in teaching and research opportunities through 8 GME programs.
  • Enjoy multiple GI practice locations, both at the hospital and suburban outpatient centers.
  • Be part of a magnet hospital and engage in community outreach programming.

Requirements

Physicians must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology and have completed advanced endoscopy training, though it is not required.

Successful candidates will have:

  • A strong commitment to patient care and a passion for gastroenterology.
  • Experience in performing inpatient and outpatient duties with the assistance of inpatient nurse practitioners and endoscopy nursing teams.
  • Knowledge of sophisticated endoscopy resources and comprehensive surgical support.
  • Experience in teaching and research through 8 GME programs.
  • Experience in multiple GI practice locations, both at the hospital and suburban outpatient centers.
  • Experience in community outreach programming.

Pay

Minimum salary: $473,000
Maximum salary: $656,750
