Gas Fitter (G2) Licensed Technician

About the role

The primary duties of this position will be responsible for assembling, installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC and Refrigeration equipment, products, and systems, primarily in the commercial market. We specialize in rooftops units and want to continue to build on this as well as other HVAC areas.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, repair, and maintain HVAC and Refrigeration equipment, products, and systems
• Work on rooftops units
• Provide excellent customer service
• Manage time effectively
• Communicate effectively
• Have knowledge of rooftop units
• Be familiar with tools, equipment, and materials used in the trade
• Understand HVAC/R codes, standards, and regulations
• Know the hazards and safety precautions of the trade
• Hold HRAI Certification for HVAC programs and designs
• Have a valid, clean, and current provincial Driver’s License

Requirements

• Current Licensed Gas Fitter 2
• Minimum 5 years HVAC/R service and sales experience
• Knowledge of rooftop units
• Skills with tools, equipment, and materials
• Understanding of HVAC/R codes, standards, and regulations
• Knowledge of safety precautions
• Preferred HRAI Certification for HVAC programs and designs

Qualifications

• Valid, clean, and current provincial Driver’s License
