Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain gas piping systems according to industry standards such as ASME codes & standards
- Conduct thorough inspections of gas lines and appliances to ensure safety and compliance with local regulations
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and system diagrams for accurate installation and troubleshooting
- Perform HVAC-related piping work, tube bending, soldering, and rigging tasks with precision
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including inspection reports, schematics updates, and maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing facilities while working with pipelines or plumbing systems
Requirements
- Valid license as a Gas Fitter with proven experience in gas system installation and maintenance
- Demonstrated knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to gas piping and pipeline construction
- Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, HVAC piping, fire sprinkler fitting, and tube bending processes
- Able to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and system diagrams accurately
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting and system design
- Strong understanding of safety standards including OSHA regulations relevant to gas fitting work
Pay
$35.00 - $50.00 per hour
