Gas Distribution Engineer
About the role
Engineer position supports the planning, design, and execution of gas infrastructure projects. Project scoping, engineering design, cost estimating, regulatory compliance, and construction support for new and replacement pipeline assets. The engineer works closely with Project Management, Operations, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with 49 CFR Part 192 and internal company standards.
Responsibilities
- Update project tracking list with current project status.
- Prepare design drawings and service spreadsheets.
- Research existing asset information.
- Prepare and/or review operating procedures.
- Prepare project Stage Gate documentation.
- Attend meetings: Project CFT’s, trainings, staff meetings, coordination meetings, etc.
- Visit project field locations for planning or construction support.

- Autocad or similar CAD program
- Microsoft Office applications

Schedule
Core business hours are 8 am – 3 pm. Flexibility with work schedules can be discussed depending on circumstances.
