Garage Manager

About the role

We are seeking an individual with a minimum of 5 years of fleet management experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to industry and safety standards and regulations for emissions, usage, and safe operation of all vehicles and equipment.
• Schedule necessary repairs and maintenance on all company equipment including tri-axle dump trucks, heavy equipment, trailers, pick-up trucks, cars, and other rolling stock.
• Maintain shop facilities.
• Follow employment, safety, U.S. DOT, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor safety and performance, and day-to-day operations of all maintenance and shop employees.
• Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.

Requirements

• A valid driver license with a clean driving record is required, a CDL is preferred.
• Proficiency with computers including the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in diesel and heavy equipment repair and maintenance, and supervision of maintenance and shop personnel is required.
