About the role

As a Garage Door Service Professional, you will be the face of Precision Garage Door Service in customers' homes. You will have the opportunity to build trust, solve problems, and directly impact the safety and security of each home you visit. Your ability to explain options clearly and perform high-quality work will directly influence your earnings and career growth. You will receive comprehensive, hands-on training, a company vehicle, and a steady stream of customers so you can ramp up quickly. No prior garage door experience is required; if you bring mechanical aptitude, strong people skills, and a desire to grow, we will teach you the trade and support your development.

Responsibilities

• Visit residential customers daily to diagnose issues with garage doors and openers, explain findings, and recommend the best solutions.
• Repair, replace, and install garage doors, openers, and related components with a focus on safety, accuracy, and long-term reliability.
• Educate customers so they fully understand their service options, the work being performed, and how to use and maintain their equipment.
• Use our proven sales and service model to present services and equipment, process payments on a tablet, and complete clear, accurate job documentation.
• Maintain a well-organized, fully stocked service vehicle and care for company tools and equipment to ensure you are always prepared for the next job.

What Success Looks Like

• Within your first few months, you confidently handle common repair and installation jobs independently while meeting all safety and quality standards.
• Customers consistently rate you highly, mentioning your professionalism, clear communication, and the quality of your work in reviews and feedback.
• You reliably meet or exceed individual performance targets for completed jobs, customer satisfaction, and revenue using our sales model.
• You demonstrate strong time management by completing full solutions for each customer while staying on schedule and minimizing return visits.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools and mechanical equipment, with the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on your feet, bending, climbing, kneeling, and standing.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive attitude and a genuine interest in helping customers feel safe, informed, and confident.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to follow established processes while thriving in a fast-paced, field-based environment in varying temperatures.
• Comfort with technology, including tablets or iPads, and a willingness to learn our systems, products, and service approach through ongoing training.

Pay

Exceptional pay with potential earnings ranging from $60,000 to $100,000 in your first year, with highly competitive pay that meets or exceeds trade standards.
