Garage Door Installer & Service Technician

About the role

Eco Garage Door Services is expanding into Oklahoma City and is seeking a skilled Garage Door Installer & Service Technician. This position involves diagnosing and repairing residential and commercial garage door systems, handling installations, and managing job sites independently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair garage door systems
• Handle common service needs such as opener malfunctions, spring failures, track issues, and hardware repairs
• Identify and recommend upgrades to customers
• Talk with customers about their needs and provide clear explanations
• Install new garage door systems as needed
• Manage time, tools, and job sites independently
• Handle heavy components safely
• Represent Eco Garage Door Services professionally in the community

Requirements

• At least one year of hands-on experience in field service, installation, construction, or home services
• A high school diploma or GED
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• The ability to read instructions, work with basic math, and communicate clearly with customers
• A strong work ethic and the ability to manage tasks independently
• A willingness to learn and adapt to changes in products and systems

Qualifications

• One to two years of garage door service or installation experience, residential or commercial
• Experience working with springs, openers, and hardware on the repair or replacement side
• A background in construction trades, field service, or building systems

Skills

• Hands-on experience in field service, installation, construction, or home services
• Ability to read and follow instructions
• Basic math skills
