About the role

The Garage Attendant maintains cleanliness of the common garage area and provides exceptional hospitality services in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner to all guests. This role also handles basic upkeep of garage facility equipment and waste receptacles.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct cleanliness checks each shift of all guest entrances and elevator landings, including emptying ash urns and trash receptacles at ½ full or higher, and sweeping litter and cigarette butts (25% of time).
  • Use a mop or power washer to eliminate stains from liquid spills in common areas; wipe all signage, wayfinding materials, and pay-on-foot stations with appropriate cleaning solutions (20% of time).
  • Maintain general garage cleanliness using a mobile garbage can, broom, and dustpan to remove debris from around and between vehicles, ledges, and walls; use paint-safe solutions or power washers for stains on pillars and columns (25% of time).
  • Clean all signage and wayfinding materials at garage entrances and exits; wipe equipment including gates, gate arms, and card-reading devices (10% of time).
  • Empty returned guest key receptacles at garage exits and return keys to the Towne Park MOD; power wash garage entrances/exits as needed (10% of time).
  • Provide guests with information about the surrounding area and main attractions (10% of time).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English, simple instructions, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence.

Skills

  • Attentive, friendly, and efficient hospitality.
  • Basic cleaning and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.
  • Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, handle tools, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Pay

Hourly base pay of $13 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time, 5 days a week.
