About the role

The Assistant Manager at GARAGE plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager by assisting with store operations, driving sales, and managing the team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including optimizing sales results and leading a high-performing team.
• Promote a positive shopping experience for each customer, ensuring they have a memorable visit.
• Lead and inspire a team to drive operational efficiency and increase sales and customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to inventory management, including shipment processing, sales floor replenishment, and eComm order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain the brand and visual merchandising standards in the store.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or related discipline, an asset
• 2 years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment
• Passion for fashion and outgoing personality
• Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Flexibility, innovation, and a sense of urgency in adapting to the changing business environment
• Ability to foster an environment that encourages participation, creativity, and learning
• Strong social media, mobile device, and Microsoft Office skills (or equivalent)
