About the role
The Assistant Manager at GARAGE plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager by assisting with store operations, driving sales, and managing the team.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including optimizing sales results and leading a high-performing team.
- Promote a positive shopping experience for each customer, ensuring they have a memorable visit.
- Lead and inspire a team to drive operational efficiency and increase sales and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to inventory management, including shipment processing, sales floor replenishment, and eComm order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain the brand and visual merchandising standards in the store.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or related discipline, an asset
- 2 years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment
- Passion for fashion and outgoing personality
- Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Flexibility, innovation, and a sense of urgency in adapting to the changing business environment
- Ability to foster an environment that encourages participation, creativity, and learning
- Strong social media, mobile device, and Microsoft Office skills (or equivalent)
