About the Role

Reporting to the Store Manager, your main focus as the Assistant Manager is to assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations by providing leadership that optimizes sales results. You promote a positive shopping experience for each customer while leading and inspiring a high-performing team to drive operational efficiency and traffic on the sales floor and through digital platforms. You play an important role in the day-to-day operations of the store, contributing to inventory management, increasing sales, and enhancing customer satisfaction while maintaining brand, visual, and merchandising presentation standards. You also contribute to inventory management through shipment processing, sales floor replenishment, and eComm order fulfillment. You are an integral part of the success of your store!

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations to optimize sales results.
• Provide leadership to promote a positive shopping experience for customers.
• Lead and inspire a high-performing team to drive operational efficiency on the sales floor and digital platforms.
• Contribute to inventory management, including shipment processing, sales floor replenishment, and eComm order fulfillment.
• Maintain brand, visual, and merchandising presentation standards.
• Increase sales and customer satisfaction through effective team leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or a related discipline is an asset.
• 2 years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment.
• Passion for fashion and an outgoing personality with a commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Flexibility, innovation, and a sense of urgency in adapting to a changing business environment.
• Ability to promote an environment that encourages participation, creativity, and learning.
• Strong collaboration and partnership-building skills.
• Proficiency in social media, mobile devices, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or OpenOffice.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per business needs.
