Gameday Intern (Penn State Sports Enterprises)

About the role

Playfly Sports is seeking a Gameday Intern to join their team in State College, Pennsylvania. The primary responsibility of this position is to collaborate with the Partnership Services and Sales Team to provide outstanding service at university sports property athletic events.

Responsibilities

• Support full-time Client Services and Sales staff with game day tasks, including but not limited to, Beaver Stadium Block Party set up and breakdown, on-site promotions, Corporate Hospitality Village set up and breakdown, and on-field presentation fulfillment.
• Aid in the execution of all hospitality elements and events on game days and non-game days.
• Take photos and documentation of promotions, signage, events, and contractual obligations to maintain an accurate image library for annual recaps.
• Track, maintain, and organize game day inventory.
• Provide high quality customer service and communication.
• Represent Playfly Sports, Penn State Sports Enterprises, and Penn State Athletics in a professional manner.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year commitment (full school year)
• Customer service and/or brand partnership experience
• Responsible, motivated, and comfortable interacting with fans, Corporate Partners, and other vendors
• Strong problem-solving skills, detail oriented, flexibility, and willingness to participate in multiple events
• Travel, Lifting, Physical Requirements: Responsible for attending all home Football games and other assigned sports home games (including afternoon, night, and weekend games); Must have reliable transportation

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with event planning and coordination
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
