Game Support / Guest Experience Team

About the role

Puttshack USA, headquartered in Chicago, IL, opened its first location in 2021 as an upscale, tech-infused mini golf experience. More than just indoor mini golf, Puttshack combines ground-breaking technology, world-class food, and a full bar in a cool environment to create a fun, elevated guest experience. The Game Ambassador position is responsible for greeting guests, checking in reservations, and guiding guests safely through the course to ensure an exciting Puttshack game experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and assist with checking in reservations
• Guide guests safely throughout the course and explain the rules of the game
• Answer guest questions and troubleshoot issues during the gaming experience
• Assist with general cleanliness of kiosks, game courses, and guest services areas
• Ensure all courses, golf balls, and equipment are in proper working order
• Troubleshoot small issues on the course and escalate problems to management as needed
• Maintain a pace sufficient to accommodate varying levels of guest visits
• Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures
• Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment
• Participate in side-work, opening, and closing duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age
• Prior experience in hospitality, customer service, or a related field
• Passion for games and technology
• High standards of guest service
• Good communication skills and ability to problem solve
• Friendly and upbeat demeanor when interacting with guests and team members

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the venue, including stairs, uneven or slick surfaces
• Ability to move and lift up to 10 pounds frequently, and occasionally move and lift up to 30 pounds
• Ability to work in confined, crowded spaces with high noise levels and varying temperatures
