Game Support / Guest Experience Team

About the role

Headquartered in Chicago, IL, Puttshack USA opened its first location in 2021 as an upscale, tech‑infused mini‑golf experience that also serves world‑class food and a full bar. The Game Ambassador greets guests, checks in reservations, and guides them safely throughout the course, explaining the rules, answering questions, and troubleshooting any issues during the gaming experience.

Responsibilities

• Bring your “A” Game each and every day.
• Assist with general cleanliness of the kiosks, game courses, and guest services area.
• Assist guests with checking in their gameplay, answering questions, and guiding them throughout the course.
• Ensure all courses, golf balls, and other equipment are in proper working order.
• Troubleshoot small issues on the course and escalate any problems to Management.
• Maintain a pace sufficient to keep up with different levels of guest visits.
• Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures.
• Take direction and be a team player.
• Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Associate Handbook.
• Perform other projects or duties as assigned, including side‑work, opening, and closing duties.

Requirements

• Must be 18 + years of age to apply.
• Prior experience in hospitality, customer service, or a related field.
• Passion for games and technology.
• High standards of guest service.
• Good communication skills and ability to problem‑solve.
• Friendly and upbeat demeanor when interacting with guests and team members.
• Ability to safely and effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the venue, which may include stairs, uneven or slick surfaces.
• Ability to move and lift up to 10 lb frequently, and occasionally lift up to 30 lb.
• Work in a confined, crowded space with high noise levels and various temperature levels.

Schedule

The venue is open 7 days/week, typically from 11 am – 1 am with some variations. Schedules are variable, ranging from approximately 15 to 30 hours per week depending on business needs and individual availability. Flexibility is valued, and while scheduling preferences are considered, they cannot always be guaranteed.
