Game Producer

About the Role

As a Game Producer at Light & Wonder, you'll define and manage game projects through the studio. You will write game specification documents and oversee games as they move through the development pipeline, ensuring they meet high standards in quality, play experience, audio, math, and orchestration. You will guide cross-functional teams to create the best possible games, acting as the voice of players to ensure clarity, fun, and excitement. The role is multi-faceted: you’ll align development teams with the vision set by the Creative Director, serve as the go-to expert for your games across the organization, share knowledge, understand regulatory requirements, track competitor developments, and support commercial and marketing teams. Your experience will drive innovation, improve game development, and provide insights into player research to enhance overall game performance and player experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain design documentation for development teams.
• Update and maintain assigned milestone dates, tasks, and tickets in Monday and Jira.
• Provide land-based title video or still frame references to Art and engineering disciplines.
• From concept design to GLI submission, provide subject matter expertise on game flow and play experience.
• Review game demos and provide feedback to each discipline to ensure top-quality content and player experience.
• Submit titles to Brand Management and Legal teams at each stage of development to mitigate IP infringement risks.
• Participate in content meetings with global studio stakeholders to provide feedback on current titles in development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 2–3 years of experience in iGaming or land-based slot game design and development.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate across multiple disciplines with a drive to overcome obstacles.
• Broad knowledge of Art, Animation, Audio, Math design, and engineering implementation.
• Sufficient understanding of North America regulatory framework and jurisdictional requirements.
• Experience using Jira.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong multi-tasking skills to maintain multiple projects concurrently.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering Ported and Original titles from start to finish.
• Strong passion for playing iGaming, land-based slot machine content, and table games.
• Familiarity with iGaming and slot machine gameplay feature mechanics and market trends.
