Game Operations Intern

Responsibilities

• Aid in all aspects of game day operations, including setup, execution, and teardown.
• Execute on-ice promotions, contests, ceremonies, and fan engagement elements.
• Coordinate with entertainment acts, promotional teams, mascots, and game night staff.
• Assist with sponsor activations and in-game promotional elements.
• Help organize giveaways and promotional items.
• Support execution of theme nights and specialty events.
• Assist with rehearsals, timing, and live event logistics.
• Work closely with video board, production, marketing, and operations staff.
• Complete additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Eligible for college or university internship credit.
• Available for Opening Weekend (October 16 & 17).
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the hockey season.
• Passion for sports, live entertainment, and fan engagement.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to and from Fishers Event Center.
• Previous experience in sports, events, or customer service is preferred but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current college student or recent graduate pursuing Sports Management, Event Management, Communications, Marketing, Broadcasting, or a related field.
• Interest in pursuing a career in professional sports.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
