About the role

Game Nerdz is a retailer of games, accessories, and FUN and is looking to add to our team-oriented family! The ideal candidate is hard-working, has a positive attitude, and is eager to learn.

Skills

• Knowledge of tabletop and trading card games
• Quick-learner and willingness to learn new processes
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer/software familiarity, including various computer and tablet technologies

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time for shifts, prepared for work
• Provide excellent customer service by creating a fun shopping experience
• Be open to feedback, communicate well, and take action as required
• Work together with the team to ensure all tasks are completed up to company standards
• Keep the sales floor clean and organized
• Assist with shipment and lift up to 30 lbs
• Work on the register system and handle cash, gift card, and credit card transactions
• Perform cleaning tasks such as trash runs, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and regular bathroom upkeep

In addition to the duties listed above, all applicants should note that due to the nature of the business, there may be other tasks required to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Customer service experience: 1 year (preferred)

Schedule

15 – 27 hours per week. Various hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
