About the role

We design and build casino games played by millions of players worldwide. As a Game Mathematician, you will play a key role in shaping the player experience by designing and analyzing the mathematical models behind our games. You will contribute across the full game development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mathematical models for casino games, including RTP, volatility, and overall game behavior.
  • Create math for original titles for digital or land-based games.
  • Produce clear and detailed mathematical documentation (math models, game logic).
  • Test and validate game outcomes using Excel, simulations, and internal tools.
  • Support development teams with mathematical insights and ensure accuracy throughout production.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in game mathematics for real-money casino games.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, physics).
  • Solid experience with MS Excel and basic programming knowledge (C++, C#, or similar language).
  • Must be fully eligible to work full-time under a local employment contract in Chicago, IL.

Pay

The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $70,000–$80,000 annually USD, based on skills, experience, education, and geographic location. Actual compensation may vary. Depending on the role, employees may also be eligible for bonus or commission opportunities.
