Gage Setup- 2nd Shift

Location: Timken Aerospace, Keene, NH • Full Time • 2nd Shift

Schedule

Monday–Thursday 3:00 pm–1:00 am, Friday overtime day.

Pay

$27.00–$33.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Set up, issue, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot gages, measuring, and testing equipment.
• Review and interpret drawings, process sheets/routings, operating instructions, and specifications.
• Assist and instruct associates in the proper use of gages, measuring, and testing equipment.
• Maintain accurate and complete daily inspection records.
• Maintain work areas and equipment in a neat and orderly manner.
• Perform testing/inspections using various test instruments and processes following established plans to determine conformance to specifications.
• Process associated documents as required and specified.
• Perform all tasks accurately with attention to detail per drawings, specifications, or other operational instructions.
• Train other associates in safety, quality, inspection, testing, etc., as required.
• Handle regulated (i.e., hazardous/non-hazardous) waste in accordance with federal/state regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications, acceptance criteria, and engineering drawings.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with solid training and mentoring skills.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Situational/spatial awareness and strict adherence to PPE/safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Tooling and master selection/storage.
• Check-in/check-out of Gage Control System.
• Setup, adjust, and maintain ID/OD/TD/TL gages.
• Basic calibration (bore pin, micrometers, etc.).
• Basic gage maintenance (preferred).
• Set up and basic troubleshooting on manufacturing or assembly gages (preferred).
