GAG Operator

Duties & Responsibilities

• Follow all PPE policies and safety rules.
• Report to immediate supervisor for daily task briefing.
• Maintain good equipment maintenance and housekeeping.
• Verify and record production and findings in ERP System or required documents.
• Install specified drift mandrel and insert pipe into machine head.
• Full length test each joint and mark with appropriate bands.
• Check machinery for proper service before starting.
• Aid in repair and replacement of equipment during maintenance.
• Communicate with crew to achieve quality product.
• Assist in charging and discharging material on racks.
• Document and/or technical devices for production and findings.
• Communicate any problems with material and equipment to supervisor.
• Verify paperwork to perform job according to requirements.

Qualifications / Competencies

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• At least 1 year’s experience on the job, training is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge and experience within the OCTG pipe inspection industry is preferable but not required.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management.
• Attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of all applicable safety rules and regulations.
