GA Pre K Lead Teacher

Teacher Responsibilities

• Help implement the Georgia Pre-K curriculum to prepare our children for success in kindergarten
• Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
• Assist the lead teacher in preparing lesson plans and instructing children in age-appropriate activities, according to the Georgia Pre-K curriculum
• Welcome families and engage them in conversation about their child's education and development
• Work as part of a supportive team!

Requirements

• Georgia Certified Teacher preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field
• Previous experience working as a teacher at a licensed childcare center is required
• Passion for working with young children
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to pass background checks & health assessments
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs. for child safety and emergencies
