GA Pre K Lead Teacher
Teacher Responsibilities
- Help implement the Georgia Pre-K curriculum to prepare our children for success in kindergarten
- Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Assist the lead teacher in preparing lesson plans and instructing children in age-appropriate activities, according to the Georgia Pre-K curriculum
- Welcome families and engage them in conversation about their child's education and development
- Work as part of a supportive team!
Requirements
- Georgia Certified Teacher preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field
- Previous experience working as a teacher at a licensed childcare center is required
- Passion for working with young children
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to pass background checks & health assessments
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs. for child safety and emergencies
