GA Pre-K Lead Teacher
About the role
The Georgia Pre-K Program is a state-funded educational initiative designed to prepare 4-year-old children for success in Kindergarten and beyond. As a Pre-K Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for developing engaging learning experiences, caring for the social, physical, and intellectual development of the children in your class, and ensuring compliance with state and center requirements.
Responsibilities
- Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers.
- Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in your class.
- Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, and be an expert on all licensing guidelines, company standards, and GA Pre-K program requirements.
- Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote the child's achievement and support the center's success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, approved related degree, or higher credential.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
- The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
