About the role
We're seeking a proactive, passionate, and detail-driven Assistant Retreat Director to support the daily operations of our retreat. In this role, you’ll report to the Spa Director and help ensure operational excellence, team development, and five-star guest experience in alignment with our brand promise:

- 6–10-hour shifts
- Must be able to work varied shifts to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Champion the Cloud 9 Wellness Experience, ensuring each guest receives personalized care from arrival to departure.
- Promote the therapeutic and wellness benefits of massage and skincare therapy.
- Partner with the Spa Director on membership strategy, including overcoming obstacles and building rapport.
- Foster meaningful connections that empower guests on their wellness paths.
- Resolve guest concerns with empathy, professionalism, and alignment to brand tone.
- Assist with recruitment, hiring, training, and developing and retaining team members.
- Facilitate front desk associate training and coaching with role-playing to support membership sales.
- Model excellence at the front desk through a lead-by-example approach, providing ongoing coaching and mentorship to elevate team performance.
- Serve as the Spa Director's right hand and act as a trusted partner, bringing a proactive, self-starter mindset to everything you do. You don't wait to be told — you anticipate needs, take initiative, and move with purpose. While open to direction and guidance, you thrive when given ownership and act decisively without needing to be prompted.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience in membership sales.
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in wellness or spa service setting is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Zenoti or similar spa management software is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating standards in a branded or franchise environment is preferred.
- Excellent at guest communication
