Further Process Operator - 1st shift

About the role

Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Further Process Operator to join our Liquid Egg Products team in Fort Recovery. All training will be provided.

Shift & Pay

• Monday through Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm
• Starting hourly rate: $17.90–$21.45 with potential increase after 90 days
• Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that food safety, quality procedures and USDA-FSIS regulations are being adhered to
• Monitoring and enforcing a controlled process in regard to food safety and regulatory requirements
• Performing and recording daily pre-operative inspections prior to USDA inspection, and accompanying the designated USDA Inspector through their pre-op inspection
• Understanding, training and demonstrating how to operate all further processing equipment
• Assisting in all HACCP monitoring activities, SQF and production paperwork for the further process operation
• Assisting the management team in root cause analysis, problem solving and follow through with resolution to food safety or quality issues

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma
• Must have organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• 2 years experience in further process/pasteurization preferred but not required
